    Philadelphia-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) are frequent and chronic myeloid malignancies including Polycythemia Vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET), Primary Myelofibrosis (PMF) and Prefibrotic myelofibrosis (PreMF). These MPNs are caused by the acquisition of mutations affecting activation/proliferation pathways in hematopoietic stem cells.   • MicroOrganoSphere Drug Screen Pilot Trial in Colorectal Cancer (CRC)

    The primary objective of this study is to determine the feasibility of generating sufficient MicroOrganpSphere (MOS) from a biopsy of a patient's colorectal cancer liver metastasis to determine sensitivity to standard of care drug used in the treatment of colorectal cancer (oxaliplatin, irinotecan, 5-FU/Xeloda, Bevacizumab, Panitumumab or Cetuximab, Lonsurf, Regorafenib and Pembrolizumab or Nivolumab) in < 14 days. The secondary objective of this study is to assess the association between standard of care drug sensitivity in MOS to clinical outcome of patient treated with standard of care therapy from which the MOS was derived.

  • Mutant CALR-peptide Based Vaccine in Patients With Mutated CALR Myeloproliferative Neoplasm

    The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of administrating mutated-CALR peptide Vaccine to patients with MPN. The researchers plan to enroll 10 patients over a 12 month period. Maximum length of participation in 80 weeks. Patients will be asked to complete questionnaires, bone marrow biopsies, research lab collection, and standard of care lab draw. This research will be taking place only at The Mount Sinai Hospital, specifically at the Ruttenberg Treatment Center.
